Church Parade 

Well done to the 13 Brownies who attended Church last Sunday. We will attend our next Church Parade in June (date to follow) and I hope that all of the Brownies will be able to be there on that occasion. 

Table Sale - 8th April 2000 (Please also see last newsletter) 

To date I have had one offer of help for the Table Sale! Please start to bring in anything suitable to sell and please tell me if you can provide something for the cake/grocery stall. If you or anyone that you know would like to hire a table please let me know ASAP. Remember, we rely on you to make this event a success. This year our annual rent will be nearly �300, so it is vital that we raise some money for pack funds as well as the other, very worthwhile causes. 

Mothering Sunday Arrangements 

Saturday 1st April - Preparing Flower Posies 

We have been asked by the Church to help prepare the flower posies that are given to all Mothers in Church on Mothering Sunday. If any Brownie who would like to come along and help please meet me at: Time: 10.00 am Place: Minor Hall at the back of the Church It should take approx. 1 hour. Any Brownie could come for all or part of the time. Uniform is optional. 

Sunday 2nd April - Mothering Sunday 

The Brownies, with other children in the Junior Church, have been asked to help distribute the flower posies at the Mothering Sunday Service. This will not be a parade service but the Brownies will still need to be in smart uniform. We will meet at 10.15 am outside of our normal meeting hall. The Brownies will then go into Junior Church (Sunday School) for the first part of the service and go into Church for the latter part of the service so that we can then give out the flower posies. 

Would you please collect your daughter from the back of the Church as usual at approx. 11.30 am. If possible, could you please let me know if your daughter will be able to attend one or both of these events. 

Guide Pantomime - Friday 14th April 

Our Guide Unit are putting on the pantomime of "Aladdin". They have been putting a lot of effort into this and the Brownies, and Brownies parents, are invited to come and see their performance. It will take place at our meeting hall on Friday 14th April, starting at 7.30 pm. The cost of the performance is �1.00 for adults and 50p for children. Drinks and refreshments will also be provided. 

I will be going so if any Brownie would like to see it with me they are more than welcome. It should be an excellent show. Uniform should be worn for this event. Please come and support our Guide Unit.

1. Brownie Shield Event Postponed from last September, this event will take place on Saturday, 20th May. Further details will be available after the Easter holidays. Watch the website!
2. Visit to the Guide Heritage Centre - London We plan to take the Brownies to the Guide Heritage Centre and have provisionally booked Saturday 8th July. Further details will be available after the Easter holidays. Watch the website!
